Between the clouds” is a dream and the light you see between the fluffy clouds on a beautiful sunny day. The Mayan sun was the inspiration for the double ring sun. A sunny day is like a big smile in the sky. I hope you have a sunny day even in a gloomy sky.

If you know me well, one of the two flowers I love is the white Calla lily, this flower represents rebirth. The elegance and simplicity of this beautiful flower made me fall in love with it. The painting “Under Water lilies”, is a representation of completely going against normality, instead of seen them on a base as you normally would, I saw them moving under water, petals submerge in the waves, still appreciating their beauty, still recognize their shaped but changed by the pressure of water. One of my favourites to paint ❤️

The other side of me. Over the pass year I worked to complement my fine art collection with something more abstract. I love working with my fine art paintings, is a more control process from the making of the wardrobe, to the photography itself. The modern work allows a more expressive brushstroke, colours and textures, If you ask me, think that’s my perfect balance🤩. “24 hours” is a reflection on a 24 hour period, night and day will always come, regardless what you accomplish or didn’t, there will always be the hope of tomorrow.

“Elizabeth” inspired by the Elizabethan era and all the Shakespeare books I hated in high school, but I love now. It started as a very different interpretation of this time period, I had a teal wardrobe that I hand painted. About a week before the shoot I wanted more ruffles so back to my sawing machine I went 🤗, little did I know this would become the main wardrobe for the shoot. Her enchanting gloves came from @pearlandbirch, this will probably not be the last time I use them on a painting . Every fine art painting take time to come together, but when is done is like magic.

Light - A 17x20 canvas, a contemporary art piece, a new age approach, merging photography with acrylic paint with gold leaf details.  Design, wardrobe and portraiture, is done in studio (by the artist).  This piece was born from my love of light, and the drapery is inspire by the renaissance status.
